Wisdom in human form as what we all say. I wanted to see for myself the true being which is the Dalai Lama. I have started a journey to the Himalayas to search for the embodiment of good judgment. Physically and mentally, I was prepared for the greatest honor to meet the Ocean Guru, as it is translated, but spiritually, I have come to question my very existence, as I was not ready to answer the most personal questions in my head.
I shook his hand as I was trembling with disbelief; my thoughts were of mixed emotions as he started his words of wisdom. His impeccable knowledge about life and what makes of it was just what I needed to hear and the moment he finished his message of insight, my tears started to roll as it was like my life was being read to me with precise detail. In these moments, we start to find the meaning of our lives and in these moments we start to live the way we should. Spiritual knowledge, success and moral values: that is what the Dalai Lama is all about.
He spoke to me like a sharpshooter aiming at a direct target and straight to the point. The message that he delivered was like holy water being sprinkled to a newborn baby about to be baptized and welcomed to the world. He even told me that as I would come to a realization, I would forever bookmark this chapter in my life to remember the moment I rose from the ashes of confusion and live a life full of astuteness.
As I record this memorable event in my life, I have realized that we too have the comprehension and the spiritual strength to be a Mecca of wisdom. All it takes is a lifetime of knowledge, experience and our whole lives to live.
