This is to inform the audience on the life of Michael Jackson beyond the stage. At the end of this presentation, the audience should be able to understand how Jackson’s life was surrounded with controversies despite his humble beginnings as a musician.
Michael Jackson was born on 29th August, 1958 in Gary, Indiana to Joe and Katherine Jackson.
He was the seventh born in a family of nine children.
His musical career started at the age of five when he begun presenting and performing in local clubs in Indiana.
Previous studies on the Michael Jackson’s life and his biography have shown that he was a controversial man who loved his own company.
Controversies in Michel’s life started early in his career as a musician and did not stop even after he had died.
Michael started his career as the lead singer in the Jackson Five where his father who was interested in music wanted to control the Jackson Five’s fortunes thereby marking the beginning of Michael’s family rows.
He sang and danced his way to global fame as his musical potential continually grew.
He faced bankruptcy, a divorce after three years of marriage and was accused and charged of child molestation. He also underwent several plastic surgeries to change his looks.
He avoided the media and wore a mask whenever he travelled.
He died of heart attack at the age of 50 on June 25, 2009.
After Jackson’s death controversy did not end.
His death was speculated as being a result of overdoses of sedatives, painkillers and antidepressants that were supplied by his doctor.
His third born child, born of a secret surrogate mother, was also a center of controversy after his death.
