This paper will focus mainly on the Second World War, its progress and the impact it had on the rest of the world. All the leading world powers played a key role in the Second World War. They were all fighting to attain global domination and become the world’s super power. Instead, 60 million people were documented to have lost their lives not to forget those who died and were never recorded. Countries were also left in ruins after the war, and the majority of them had to start rebuilding from scratch.
